Every YouTube creator with more than 10,000 subscribers is gaining access to mobile live streaming. The feature launched last year for an even smaller group of people, but now access is expanding. YouTube says everyone else will gain the feature shortly.

Mobile streaming support helps YouTube compete against other livestreaming platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

When you decide to stream, you can set a custom title and control the live chat. A notification can be sent to all of your subscribers, notifying them that you’re live.

YouTube has been improving the feature since its launch by “pushing for better streaming quality” and slowing down the live chat.
