It hasn’t taken a while for Xiaomi to improve their first SmartPhone with a fingerprint sensor the Redmi Note 3. The company has recently unveiled a new and improved version of the Redmi Note 3, the Redmi Note 3 Pro.

This new phone has had some features added to it to make it even smarter than its predecessor. The new features include an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor chipset, and integrated X8 LTE with Cat 7 speed, Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 with a 64-bit 1.8GHz hexa –core CPU and an Andreno 510 GPU. This mobile device works on all Chinese mobile carriers, has a 4G-network support and it also supports VoLTE. Xiamo already has a loyal following in China because of the affordability of their smartphone and because the phones are as smart as they are advertised to be. Second to China is India. Xiaomi is looking to launch its latest improved phone in India in the next couple of weeks. The details of the launch are still sketchy but people have been highly anticipated.

The features that were in the first incarnation of the phone are still intact. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with a phase detection autofocus and a two tone flash. For “selfie” junkies there is a 5-megapixel front-camera on the phone. The camera upgrade will appeal to a lot of people who like taking pictures. This phone has the best technological features that make using it all the more special. The 5.5-inch FullHD 1080×1920 pixels display resolution, which brings images to clear focus. It comes in two different models distinguished by the amount of memory. The 16GB model has 2GB of RAM and the 32GB model with 3GB of RAM. The phone draws power from a 4,050mAh battery that supports quick charging.

The 16GB model, which came out first, is available from RMB 999 for the price of $151. The price of the 32GB is yet to be announced.

The Redmi Note 3 Pro is expected to be available in the Indian Market soon. Xiaomi has created a buzz around the launch of the phone by starting “The Redmi Note 3 Explorer challenge” in India where a 100 fans are chosen to complete 100 missions. These explorers will be ranked based on the success they achieve in the challenges and the support from fans. Winners will win a price and fans will get a sneak preview of the smart phone. Details of the pricing and availability of the Redmi Note 3 Pro are still not available but Xiaomi promises, they will release more information soon.
