Sony has just released one of the cheapest in-car systems currently available that also supports both Google’s Android Auto or Apple’s CarPlay. The cheapest model belongs to JBL with their Legend CP100, but Sony’s XAV-AX100 is close, priced at $499 on Amazon.

The XAV-AX100 packs a 6.4-inch resistive touchscreen that is more than enough for all your content and controls. It supports a 4 x 55-watt Dynamic Reality Amp that can reproduce high-quality tunes even when listening to music at max volume settings. The exact release date isn’t known, but it should be out before Christmas.
