Nokia’s first true Android flagship smartphone is reportedly set to be announced in August. According to latest reports, the company has started sending out invites for an August 16 event on which it will make the flagship smartphone official. However, the event has yet to be officially confirmed by Nokia or HMD Global.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia 8 is expected to have a 5.3-inch display with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels resolution, a Snapdragon 835 chipset that will be paired with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. This will also be Nokia’s first smartphone with dual rear cameras, as there will be dual 13 MP Zeiss-branded sensors on the back.
