LG is gearing up to release its next-gen flagship smartphone, the LG G6, which is expected to arrive in the first half of 2017. Rumours are pointing to February 26 as the announcement date, while the phone will reportedly go on sale a month before Samsung Galaxy S8.

If the report is legit, the phone is expected to go on sale on March 10. Although it seems that the initial rollout will be limited to South Korea.

Earlier today, LG Display announced that it will introduce the world’s first 5.7-inch QHD+ LCD panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio and supply the panel to LG Electronics for its next flagship smartphone. Not only the display will have improved response time, thinner and lighter design, but also will consume 30% less energy.
