Lenovo isn’t going to release any Windows 10 smartphones due to concerns about Microsoft’s long-term commitment to the platform. Gianfranco Lanci, Lenovo’s COO, says he is not convinced Microsoft will support its phone platform in the future. Lenovo is fine with making Windows 10 PCs, however.

I don’t see the need to introduce a Windows Phone and I am not convinced Microsoft is supporting the phone for the future,

While it is a player in the smartphone market, Windows 10 Mobile isn’t anywhere near as popular as Android or iOS. As there has been trouble in Microsoft’s mobile division, it’s understandable Lenovo would be concerned about Microsoft’s continued commitment.
