Earlier Sunday, Lenovo disseminated a promo that carried some news. According to the manufacturer, one million units of the Moto Z series have been sold worldwide. Helping the phone ring up such a large number of sales are the Moto Mods modular accessories. The Hasselblad True Zoom ($299.99) brings 10X optical zoom and a Xenon flash to the phone. JBL SoundBoost ($79.99) is a modular speaker that enhances the sounds coming out of the phone’s speaker. The Moto Insta-Share projector ($299.99) will show videos, shows and movies on a wall or other flat surfaces.
Add as much as 22 hours of additional battery life to your phone with the Incipio offGRID Power Pack (up to $59.99). The Moto Style Shell adds material to your phone such as leather or wood, allowing you to customize the look of your phone to meet your mood. The Mods connect to any Moto Z phone through the use of magnetic pins found on the bottom rear of the phone. The Moto Mods quickly snap on and off the phone.
Among the phones in the Moto Z line are the Motorola Moto Z, Motorola Moto Z Force and the Motorola Moto Z Play. Verizon exclusives of the same models include the Motorola Moto Z Droid, Motorola Moto Z Force Droid and the Motorola Moto Z Play Droid. All of the unlocked and Verizon exclusive models were unveiled in September. With 1 million units of Moto Z series handsets already rung up and the holiday shopping season straight ahead, it looks like Lenovo and Motorola are happy with how the line is performing.
