HTC is likely to unveil it’s first and possibly the only flagship for 2018 in early May. The smartphone is expected to go official as HTC U12+, even though we were expecting to get the HTC U12 first.

Now, a handful of live pictures showing the flagship have popped up at a Taiwanese company specialized in manufacturing screen protectors. The phone shown in these images looks pretty much similar to the one that appeared in other pictures of the HTC U12.

HTC hopes to turn the tables with the U12 (or U12+) and stop bleeding money. Design-wise, the upcoming flagship looks thinner than the U11+, but that might be just an optical illusion.

Once again, the renders confirm HTC’s flagship will pack a dual-camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It pretty clear that the Taiwanese company has decided to do away with the notch, so as to not alienate its fans (yet).

Naturally, the phone will boast an 18:9 display and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB (or 128GB) internal storage. Also, the pictures confirm the smartphone will indeed include dual front cameras.
