Some of HTC’s recent phones will receive Android 7.0 Nougat before the end of the year, including the HTC 10. The company has confirmed it’ll begin rolling out the update to unlocked HTC 10 units in the fourth quarter, followed by unlocked One M9 and One A9 units. Carrier versions of those phones will also be updated.

When HTC previously set a 90-day update deadline for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it missed it. As such, it’s possible users could be waiting until early 2017 to receive Nougat.

No update for the One M8 has been discussed.
