Asus has already introduced the Zenfone 3 Deluxe in the United States, but Canadian customers will have to wait a few more weeks before being able to order one.
The handset maker recently confirmed that the Zenfone 3 Deluxe won’t be available in Canada until early November. The smartphone will cost $699.99 CAD ($535 USD) and it will be available at major retailers across the country, including Best Buy, Canada Computers, Memory Express, NCIX, Newegg and Staples.
It’s unclear whether or not the smartphone will be available in multiple colors, but for the time being it’s only available for pre-order in silver.
It’s also worth mentioning that this isn’t the special edition version of the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, which comes with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset inside.
Instead, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe model sold in Canada will come with a more than decent quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor inside clocked at 2.15GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
Asus also included an impressive 23-megapixel rear-facing camera that integrates the Sony IMX318 sensor. Another 8-megapixel camera in included in the front and features f/2.0 aperture lens. If you’re not yet aware, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe sports a large 5.7-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.
As you’ve probably noticed, the Canadian version of the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe that costs the equivalent of $535 is a bit more expensive than the U.S. model, which is priced at $499. Still, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe seems like a great deal even at that price, so we believe the smartphone will sell like hot cakes.
