Days after we heard that iPhone 7 is currently outselling the new iPhone 8, new reports claim that Apple has decided to cut back the iPhone 8 production by more than 50 percent. Since Apple no longer gives regular updates on sales numbers, we don’t know for sure, but these reports come straight from supply channels, phone operators and analysts.
One of the reasons for this is the iPhone X, which is eagerly awaited by fans. The handset will go on sale on November 3, but we already know that it won’t be as available as Apple would like due to production issues. Nobody expected to see a production cut this early so it will be interesting to see demand in the future.
