Through a combination of donations from Apple customers and its own contributions, Apple has raised $3 million for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. CEO Tim Cook talked about the hurricane in an email to employees. The company started accepting donations through its site and the iTunes Store on Sunday.

All of the money raised through these efforts is being directed straight to the American Red Cross to help people in Texas and Louisiana.

Apple continues to accept donations for the effort and you can contribute through the same system you’d use for a regular iTunes purchase.

The company itself donated $2 million to the Red Cross and is continuing to match employee donations two-for-one.
