To keep up with the competition, Apple plans to include wireless charging solution with the next-generation iPhones. According to JPMorgan analyst Harlan Sur, Apple has been working with Broadcom on a new customized wireless charging solution for iPhones.

Reportedly the two companies have been working together for almost two years, but it is still unsure whether the solution will be ready for the upcoming iPhones. The good thing is that all three upcoming iPhones will have the wireless charging feature, the only question is which company will make the wireless chargers. Apple has also joined Wireless Power Consortium, an industry group that develops a widely-used Qi wireless charging standard.
